Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur is a festival for Jews or Judaism. This festival is also called Day of Atonement. This festival is the holiest day of the year according to Hebrew calendar. In this day, Jews people keep fast for 25 hours long and they keep praying for the whole. They spent the whole day by doing in synagogue services. For this day, they get officially a holiday. This day has celebrated some Christen too. Jews think that in this day, their fate is being sealed for the upcoming year. Jews keep them away from any work or specially from any hard work and they prefer to pray for the whole day.
According to the Hebrew calendar, Yom Kippur held on the tenth day of the month of the seventh. They pray to the God and asking for the forgiveness. In this day, every ages people given attention for praying and they try to keep themselves at home. They arrange special praying service at home and the prayer starts from early morning. They keep them away from all sins and do not do anything wrong what makes the God angry. They try to please God by praying. Many secular Jews also give attention on the very specially.
