Lailat al Bara’a

Lailat al Bara’a is mainly known as Mid-Shaban. This day is celebrated according to the Islamic or Arabic calendar. People give very importance in this day. This festival is considered as a Religious festival. This is why, a large number of Muslim celebrate the day. The Lailat al Bara’a is celebrated in the night of 15th Shaban. However, according to Arabic calendar, a day starts to see the moon. Shia Muslims celebrate the night most. Because they believe of the birthday of Muhammad al-Mahdi on the 15th Saban. Many Muslims are also against of this. They believe in 15th Saban night is special but it is not recommended to celebrate according to Hadith.
Many Muslim wrongs interpreted Quranic 2 verses “”We sent it (this Qur’an) down on a blessed night. Verily, we are ever warning [mankind that Our Torment will reach those who disbelieve in Our Oneness of Lordship and in Our Oneness of worship]. Therein (that night) is decreed every matter of ordainments”. But according to the Islamic scholars, the Quran was down at the Shobe Qadar night and by these qur’anic 2 verses, Allah mentioned about Sobe Qadar, not Lailat al Bara’a. According to Hadith, there is no nigh as Lailat al Bara’a .
