Eid al-Fitr

After the Holy Ramadan, the big festival is Eid al-Fitr. Eid al-Fitr is the biggest celebration for Muslims and it has huge value. After keeping 30 days Ramadan (fasting), people get the Eid al-Fitr festival for enjoying. In this festival, people can enjoy only in the halal (Permissible) way. All Muslims worldwide celebrate the festival and it is a very important celebration for all Muslim community. The day of eid is the first day of Shawwal month according to Arabic calendar. Since the first day of Shawwal month, people have stopped doing obligatory fasting what they have kept since the first Ramadan.
At the morning of Eid al-Fitr, people congregate together at the mosque for praying two rakat salat and thus the Eid al-Fitr festival has been occuresd. Many special and rich foods are cooked. People go to relatives and friends house and they come too. For the festival of Eid al-Fitr, people buy new dresses. Especially, they buy dresses for kids. The main festival of the Eid al-Fitr is for kids. Before the day of Eid al-Fitr, it is important to pay fitra to poor people. There is another thing which is called zakat and it is the obligatory thing to pay. According to rules, zakat should be given.
