Eid al-Adha

Eid al-Adha is one of the big festivals of Muslims and it is followed according to the Islamic calendar. In the Islamic Calendar, you can easily find Eid al-Adha. This festival is also called the festival of the Sacrifice. The festival has occurred for a long time according to the Holy Quran. In many Muslim countries, people get holydays for 3 to 7 days in many countries. Muslim sacrifice animals (domestic animals) for pleasing Allah and divided the meat into three parts. One part is for poor, another is for relative and friends and another part is for own.
Behind the story of the of sacrifice is Prophet Ibrahim Alahiwasallam sacrifice hid beloved son for pleasing Allah. It was order from Allah and when Prophet Ibrahim Alahiwasallam followed the order, then Allah instantly ordered Jibra’il (Gabriel) to replace animal instead of son of Prophet Ibrahim Alahiwasallam and Allah said that sacrifice from Prophet Ibrahim Alahiwasallam is accepted. Allah liked the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim Alahiwasallam and ordered all follower of Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihissalam by Holy Quran to sacrifice domestic animal. However, if anyone cannot afford buying an animal, then he does not need to do this and order of Allah for sacrifice for that man is loosen.
